This research analyses the influence of pregnancy hormones on epigenetic changes in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Many patients suffering from these diseases wish to have children. The research will contribute to understanding the processes influenced by disease during pregnancy. The results may enable conclusions on new therapeutic approaches for RA and SLE patients wishing to have children.
